controversy has erupted over suspension of reporter H Kohn from his job at Detroit Free Press for writing article giving false account of attempt on his life which ran as lead article in newspaper on May 20; Free Press on May 22 reptd that Kohn had discussion with editors and reporters during which he admitted he had lied about some details in his article; paper's managing editor N Shine issued statement saying that Kohn had acted unprofessionally by falsifying story; says he has so far been unable to find explanation for false account; Kohn committed himself to Ford Hosp on May 22 and was released on May 24; warrant has been issued for his arrest charging him with filing fictitious rept of crime--a misdemeanor
