THE musical activity for the coming week is fully as pronounced as has been the rule since the season got under way a few weeks ago. Perhaps the principal novelty is the first appearance for the season of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, which will be heard under Dr. Muck on Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon at Carnegie Hall.
