Pentagon papers case defense attys C E Goodell and C Nesson in affidavit requested by Judge W M Byrne Jr say, on June 8, they will call 18 witnesses, including former special assistants to Pres, staff men from White House, Defense Dept and CIA as well as Washington newspaper correspondents, to prove that leaking of classified Govt documents is common practice; affidavit is requested to support defense motion for pretrial hearing on Govt charges against D Ellsberg and A J Russo; defense repts former Govt official who is expert in security matters will testify that classified materials involved in Pentagon case are less sensitive in terms of natl defense relationship than bulk of classified material regularly leaked; former Air Force Deputy Asst for Security and Trade Affairs W G Florence, in attached affidavit, indicates that he will testify to specific instances of leaks; relates instance of security leak concerning satellite information in which Govt made no effort to initiate criminal proceedings; affidavit describes Washington correspondent as saying that Govt regards information of classified nature as 'ammunition to be fired, not as secrets to be guarded'
