The improvement displayed in stocks, both on the Stock Exchange and the Curb, on Friday afternoon, was continued with considerable vigor yesterday, the list showing an average gain of about 2 points at the close. The Street appeared to be well over its early scare about possible radical readjustments due in the near future because of signs of peace negotiations.
